Itinerary

There are two options for your exciting day out: Gatorland from Orlando and Gatorland with Airboat Ride. Gatorland from Orlando You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned coach. Your (English-speaking) driver will also act as your guide.

The journey to Gatorland, in the Florida Everglades, takes about an hour. Gatorland is a 110-acre park and wildlife reserve containing alligators, crocodiles, turtles, birds and many other animals in natural surroundings.

You have about 5 hours at this fantastic venue. There is so much to do. Just some of the highlights are listed below:

Alligator Island: The best place to view Gatorland’s largest alligators and crocodiles as they soak up the sun.

Breeding Marsh & Bird Rookery: A 10-acre marsh containing 130 adult alligators. It’s a great place to see birds such as herons, egrets, owls, spoonbills, cormorants and even ospreys.

Swamp Walk: Follow a raised wooden walkway through the cypress trees and find out what Central Florida looked like before the wetlands were drained.

Gator Gully Splash Park: Water-based fun with a wildlife theme.

Very Merrie Aviary: Meet the bright friendly lorikeet parrots and their friends.

Exciting Shows: One-of a kind reptilian shows including The Gator Wrestlin’ Show, Gator Jumparoo and Up-Close Encounters Show.

After hours of fun at Gatorland, you will board your coach for the return journey. At the end of the day, you will be dropped off back at your Orlando hotel.

Gatorland with Airboat Ride

This tour is like the one above except that, before visiting Gatorland, you have the chance to explore the Florida swamps in an airboat.

An experienced Master Captain will take you into the heart of the Florida Everglades to enjoy the natural wonders and breathtaking beauty of this wetland wilderness.

Your tour starts with a slow ride down a canal to see alligators, turtles, birds and more in their natural environment. Then, fly like the wind into the swamps, and experience the feel of the airboat traveling at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour.

Your airboat ride lasts about 30 minutes and afterwards you will have around 4 hours to enjoy Gatorland.

At the end of the day, you will board your coach to return to Orlando and will be dropped off at your hotel.
