Get up close and personal with the fascinating marine creatures off the coast of Florida Gulf Coast on this unique Sea Life Safari. The Sea Life Safari is the only cruise in the area that enjoys a permit to pull a trawl net which draws in small fish, sea horses and other marine residents so that you can enjoy some really close encounters.

A trained marine biologist on board ensures that the journey will be as informative as it promises to be rewarding.

There will also be an island stop at the beautiful Compass Island to collect shells that lie in profusion all along the beach and some free time at the delightful white sandy shores of Clearwater Beach.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned coach and taken to the West Coast to begin your exciting Sea Life Safari.

On arriving at the West Coast, enjoy a tasty buffet lunch at Clearwater Beach marina.

Following lunch, you will climb onboard your boat for the Sea Life Safari for a cruise that allows you to enjoy close encounters with the region’s rich marine life.

This 2.5 hour inland cruise has a special permit that allows the vessel to trawl for marine life. Enjoy getting up close and personal with sea creatures such as seahorses and small fish. Listen as the onboard marine biologist from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium describes exactly what you are seeing and points out the various species that will come alongside your boat.

The Sea Life Safari will then make a stop at Compass Island for collecting shells to take home as souvenirs.

After the boat ride is over, you will have some free time to enjoy the beautiful white sand and blue waters of Clearwater Beach.

At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel in Orlando.
