This fun-filled day features lunch with an actual astronaut and experience a simulation of a shuttle launch.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken in an air-conditioned coach for a tour of the Kennedy Space Center and followed by lunch with an astronaut. A professional English-speaking driver/guide will accompany you on this tour.

After arriving at the Centre you will:

Visit restricted areas of the Kennedy Space Center, walk beneath the massive Saturn V rocket, and walk around the incredible rocket garden.

Have a tasty buffet-style lunch with an actual astronaut. Hear personal stories of space missions and get a photo taken. Lunch will include: rotisserie chicken with wild mushroom sauce, mixed greens, oven roasted potatoes, a fresh vegetable medley, warm baked rolls, and assorted non-alcoholic beverages. Dessert consists of milk chocolate space shuttle surrounded with whipped cream and topped with fresh berries and melba sauce — appropriately named “Chocolate Liftoff.” Children’s menu includes a choice of a quarter chicken with sides or one half of a cheese pizza with spaghetti and meatballs. Meals are tentative and subject to change.
