Itinerary

This tour is available in two options: 2-day Swim with the Dolphins and 2-day Dolphins without swim .

2-day Swim with the Dolphins:

Day 1: Orlando – Key Largo You will be picked up from the designated hotel in Orlando in an air-conditioned coach and taken for a swimming with the dolphins tour. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

1200h (12 noon): Arrive in Key Largo

1245h (12:45pm) Enjoy your first swimming session with the playful Florida dolphins in a natural ocean water lagoon that is approximately 15 feet deep. A flotation vest is provided and it is mandatory for all dolphin swimmers to wear.

The entire program lasts approximately 2 hours. It involves an educational briefing, where you will learn about dolphins in general, as well as the individual dolphins you will be swimming with. Two people enter the water with two trained dolphins at a time. Dolphins are extremely friendly and playful and so you can expect foot pushes, dorsal tows, water fights, kisses and handshakes as well as a number of other amazing behaviors.

1500h (03:00pm): Take your second swim session with the dolphins.

1800h (06:00pm): Dinner at Holiday Inn.

Overnight at a waterfront resort in Florida.

Day 2: Everglades – Bayside – Orlando 0700h – 0900h (07:00am – 09:00am): Have breakfast at the Ramada.

0915h (09:15am): Arrive at the Everglades Farm

Take the wildest 45-minute airboat ride in the state as you literally ‘fly’ above the waters in the Everglades. 180 and 360 degree spins are the norm as you see the Everglades in a way only possible on an airboat. Look out for a plethora of wildlife, particularly the alligator, which inhabits these waters.

For the really adventurous, there is a private 15-minutes’ snake and gator handling show and your opportunity to get up close and personal with some real Florida natives.

1130h (11:30am): Arrive in the Bayside shopping district

Enjoy over 2 hours of shopping at the exclusive Bayside shopping district in Miami, visit the Hard Rock Café or take the 90-minutes’ Star Island Cruise around the houses of the rich and famous (payable extra).

1600h (04:00pm): Depart for Orlando

Your tour ends with a drop-off at the starting point in Orlando.

2- day Dolphins without swim : This tour is identical to the one above. On Day 1, the swim with the dolphins is substituted with an opportunity to relax in the beautiful Florida Keys. After arriving in Key Largo, take a snorkeling tour, go deep sea fishing, kayak through the mangroves, or simply relax poolside. Day 2 is the same as the tour above.
