Itinerary

There is no hotel pick-up for the thrilling Daytona 500 Experience – Daytona Beach. Please make your way to Daytona 500 Experience, 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32114. When you arrive, hand your voucher to staff at the desk and you will receive your ticket.

The Daytona 500 Experience is an interactive motorsports attraction run by NASCAR (the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing). It delivers magical motorsports memories to both hard-core race fans and casual observers through hands-on activities, challenging thrills and one-of-a-kind sights.

Your ticket entitles you to stay at the venue as long as you want within the day. It includes the following adrenaline-pumping activities.

• Daytona Dream Laps (15 minutes): An iWERKS simulator ride based on NASCAR’s premier race, the Daytona 500. The ride seats 32 guests for a full-range motion experience of NASCAR SPRINT Cup Series racing at Daytona International Speedway.

• Chevy 16-Second Pit Stop (10-20 minutes): Test your pit crew potential at the ‘Chevy 16-second Pit Stop Challenge’. Grab an air gun, strap on some gloves, and try to beat the time of our pit crew in this lightning-fast stop for gas and tires!

• Speedway Tour (30 minutes): Enjoy a half-hour guided tour on an open-air tram through Daytona International Speedway’s garage area, pit road, and the world-famous 31-degree high banks. The tour is narrated and describes each area of the track as you ride past. You will also makes stops at Pit Road and Gatorade Victory Lane, track activities permitting. (Tour route subject to change due to track activity.)

• Coca-Cola IMAX Theater (45 minutes): The only place in Central Florida where fans can view “NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience” in 3D. This 45-minute film that takes you inside the world of NASCAR’s elite drivers and teams. From inside the garages to amazing on-track footage, you will have a new perspective on the fastest growing sport in America. For some months in the year, you will find that showings of this film alternate with a thrilling film about the legendary Richard Petty’s 200th NASCAR win. Fans will love both films.

For an additional fee (around $5) you can also test your racing skills at Acceleration Alley, where visitors are pitted against each other to vie for the checkered flag in the Daytona 500. Children under 52 inches (132.1 cm or 1.32meters) cannot participate in this activity.

Allow around 3 hours to complete all the activities mentioned above. But you can stay longer if you like. Your ticket is valid all day. Food and drink are not included, but when you are hungry there is a snack bar at the venue.
